Home base in Ole Bull State Park. Saw chipmunks, red squirrels and even a bear in the campgroundWe had a wonderful couple of days and this was a pretty common occurrence. Ed and I both caught fish but unfortunately the water was warming quickly.A well placed fly brought a brookie to the surface on the far bank. This was on Kettle Creek in the Project. We lost as many fish as we caught. Caution was the by word if we were to get any pictures. This one came to the net and was successfully released....unharmed.Another location on Kettle Creek. Low and slow is the best description of the water on this trip.We managed to catch our share though. Here another fish comes to the net.I was having a good time in this slow water with a favorite fly and Ed was clicking the pics....thanks Ed.I've never seen the water this low at this location. The lazy days of summer...kicking back in the shade and roll casting to the stream. I usually have a bit of luck in this configuration.
